Welcome

New Patients

We're so glad you're here. Your first visit is designed to be calm, thorough, and completely supportive — at our boutique single-chair clinic on Burke Road, Malvern East.

Your First Visit

What to expect

Your first appointment is about getting to know you — your dental history, your goals, and anything that makes you nervous. We take our time, explain everything clearly, and never rush.

Dr Tani will complete a thorough examination, and depending on your needs, may also complete a gentle clean. You'll leave with a clear, personalised plan — and hopefully, a sense that dentistry doesn't have to be daunting.

We look at more than just your teeth

At Central Park Dental, we take a whole-body approach to oral health. During your first visit, Dr Tani will ask about more than just your dental history — because your mouth doesn't exist in isolation from the rest of you.

This gentle, broader conversation helps us understand the full picture, and means any advice or treatment plan is genuinely tailored to you.

Sleep quality and stress levels
Jaw tension, clenching or grinding
Headaches or migraines
Sensitivities to metals, chemicals or fragrances

Payments made easy

We accept all major health funds and offer HICAPS on-the-spot claiming, so you only ever pay the gap on the day.

We also accept the Child Dental Benefits Schedule (CDBS) — providing Medicare-funded dental care for eligible children aged 0–17.

We're proud to accept all DVA (Department of Veterans' Affairs) patients — simply bring along your DVA card when you visit.

Not sure about costs? We're happy to provide estimates before any treatment begins. No surprises, ever.

Anxious About Dentistry?

You're in safe hands

Dental anxiety is completely normal, and Dr Tani genuinely understands it. She'll go at your pace, explain everything before she does it, and ensure you feel in control at every step.

If you're nervous, just let us know — there's no need to push through alone. We're happy to adjust how we work together so your visit feels manageable.
